Accessories Tie Rods
Devices, usually in form of rods or bars, attached to the expansion joint assembly whose primary function is to restrain the pressure thrust during normal operation while permitting only lateral deflection.
Vacuum Support Ring
A device to prevent the bellow from inversion at negative pressure. Is recommended if the vacuum exceed the permitted rates (see table in product leaflet for each type)
Vacuum ring should be recommended whenever the working pressure is below 0,1 Mpa. Available in stainless steel or Teflon.
PTFE Lining
An inner lining of PTFE (Teflon) can be applied into the rubber bellow in case of strong and / or concentrated acids.
Teflon lining are recommended for strong and/ or concentrated acids. Note: the elasticity of the joint is reduced by about 50%. Max working pressure: 0,6 Mpa
